Our purpose is that - 'Together we deliver irresistible equipment solutions to achieve perfection in chocolate-processing and bar-manufacturing.'
PTL was formed in 1988 and is privately owned by the Halliday family.
PTL designs and manufactures a large range of chocolate-processing equipment, with functions ranging from melting your chocolate through to conveying finished product to the wrapping department. PTL also designs and manufactures a large range of bar-manufacturing equipment for the automatic production of nutritional, health, protein, muesli, granola and confectionery bars. PTL offers complete lines, custom-designed to suit your requirements, as well as offering stand-alone machinery designed and built to your particular application.
PTL have a large existing product range, however we encourage your input in our design process. Our experienced design team will cater for your specific requirements, as we understand that no two applications are the same. In doing so we ensure you receive equipment which is exactly what you require.
PTL provides a full twelve-month warranty on all equipment. We realise that a company stands or falls on the quality of its follow-up and spares service. We have built an enviable reputation in this area, together with innovation and problem-solving to suit our clients' needs. PTL has established markets throughout the world
Operating from a modern factory unit on the East Tamaki trading estate in Auckland, New Zealand, we are close to New Zealand's largest international airport.
PTL's approach to specialised plant manufacture enables us to cover a wide range of plant applications. PTL manufactures many standard pieces of equipment such as melters, depositors, enrobers, moulding plants, cooling tunnels, temperers as well as forming, sizing and cutting equipment. But we also produce special one-off developments for many clients as well as complete turnkey projects.
Because we are driven by our clients' needs, nothing is too much trouble for us.

We are also conscious of the need for confidentiality as many of our customers demand absolute secrecy, as numerous projects are still in a development stage.
