PTL Slitters are used to cut product slabs longitudinally into ropes. The PTL slitter design provides quick and easy changeover of the slitter head, anvil and other parts when changing from one bar-pitch to another, meaning downtime is reduced. This process can be completed safely, easily and quickly by one operator using the built in changeover mechanism.

Spreading Belts

PTL Spreaders are an endless silicone belt which accurately separates product laterally one to another after slitting. No change parts are required when changing from one bar-pitch to another. Due to the silicone coating and the fact that the belt is continuous across its width, the unit is extremely easy to clean.

Ultrasonic Guillotine – ‘U series’

PTL Guillotines are used to cut preformed ropes to lengths as required. The ‘U series’ guillotines use ultrasonic’s to eliminate product sticking to blade. The PTL Ultrasonic Guillotine ‘U series’ has a unique design which allows product to be cut, whilst eliminating pressure at the cut point. The resulting cut is clean, accurate and consistent, providing downstream equipment with organized product rows.

 Guillotine – ‘I series’

PTL Guillotines are used to cut preformed ropes to lengths as required. The ‘I series’ guillotines use a highly polished stainless blade with servo drive, and linear cutting motion in time with belt for accurate cut lengths.
