Filter
- The PTL chocolate filter is used within the chocolate and biscuit industry to ensure that particles of a chosen size can be removed from the product flow on a continual basis.
- It protects both down-line equipment and the consumer from foreign particles.
- It can be used on chocolate or compound.
- Filter water-jacket can be linked to an existing pumped heating circuit or can be supplied with its own stand-alone temperature controlled unit.
- An easily-removable top or side cover depending on orientation required allows access to the filter basket.
- The filter basket can be supplied custom-made with various mesh sizes.
- A pressure sensor can be fitted to allow any pressure build-up to be monitored and if required produce an alarm signal to either shut down the pump or activate a control valve.
- Units can be fitted in pairs with linked valves to allow in production change-overs and eliminate production down time.
- Vertical or horizontal configuration
